"We agree with Gómez Garreta et al. (2001: 434 e 443, note 60) that many Mediterranean records of Acrosorium and/or Nitophyllum having "uncinatum" as specific or infraspecific epithet, are misidentification of Ac. venulosum [= Ac. ciliolatum]."
