Type locality: "About Swansea, frequent" [Swansea, Glamorgan, Wales]; (Dillwyn 1809: 776) Neotype [designated by Hoek 1963: 128?]: BM; "1806, L.W.D., C. laetvirens" K, H 4351/60/6 (Hoek 1963: 128) Notes: For further details on the type/neotype refer to Hoek (1963:128). According to Womersley (1984: 200) the type is in BM (ex K).
Origin of Species Name
Participle (Latin), light green (Stearn 1983).
