Nomenclatural note
Batters gives a brief description of Myriotrichia densa in Annals of Botany, Vol. 9, No. 33, p. 169, 1895, which INA regards as a "nomen subnudum". He states his intention to give a fuller description and figs in a later number of this journal. This he does in Vol. 9, No. 34, pp. 313 and 320. However, the name is nomenclaturally valid from Annals of Botany, Vol. 9, No. 33, p. 169, 1895, despite the brief description. - (06 September 2007) - G.M. Guiry
