The type species (lectotype) of the genus Arthrocardia is Arthrocardia corymbosa (Lamarck) Decaisne.
Status of Name
This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Calliarthron tuberculosum (Postels & Ruprecht) E.Y.Dawson.
