The type species (holotype) of the genus Fosliella is Fosliella farinosa (J.V.Lamouroux) M.Howe.
Status of Name
This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Titanoderma pustulatum (J.V.Lamouroux) Nägeli.

Syntype localities: Sweden: west coast; Denmark; (Foslie 1905: 117) Lectotype: C; Rosenvinge collection 4116 (Chamberlain 1991: 50, 53, 55) Notes: Denmark is presumably the locality of the lectotype.
