Gabrielson, P.W., Lindstrom, S.C. & Hughey, J.R. (2019). Neopolyporolithon loculosum is a junior synonym of N. arcticum comb. nov.(Hapalidiales, Rhodophyta), based on sequencing type material. Phycologia 58(3): 229-233.
