Taxonomic note
Kirkendale & al. (2013: 74) note "Identification loosely based on morphology. Type from Europe, but we have collected this species from many locations. Genetic match to the new U. clathratioides L.G.Kraft, Kraft & R.F.Waller in Kraft et al. (2010). If our identification is correct, the new [Australian] 'endemic' would have to be subsumed into the global (introduced to Australia?) U. torta." - (15 May 2013) - G.M. Guiry
