Type locality: La Fosca beach, on Mediterranean coast of Catalonia, Spain (41º51'29" N, 3º08'40" E); (Sampedro et al. 2011: 379) Holotype: Fig. 1 of culture VGO864: September 2002 and August 2005 ; (Sampedro et al. 2011: 379) Notes: Culture deposited in two culture collections (CCVIEO and CCMP3277). Isotype: Fig. 2F.
