Distributional note
This forma was apparently introduced into the Mediterranean (Verlaque et al. 2015: 255) via the Suez Canal, which opened in 1869 being first confirmed from Israel in 1951. It is now found on the Levantine coast, Turkey, Crete and Greece. - (06 November 2015) - M.D. Guiry
