The type species (holotype) of the genus Kylinia is Kylinia rosulata Rosenvinge.
Status of Name
This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Acrochaetium parvulum (Kylin) Hoyt.

(epitype) (Dixon & Irvine 1977: 105) Notes: "Bohuslän: Väderöarne, Kristineberg; Halland: Fjordskär, Varberg (spärlich-allgemein)." (Kylin 1906: 124).
