Type Species
The type species (holotype) of the genus Fosliella is Fosliella farinosa (J.V.Lamouroux) M.Howe.
Status of Name
This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Pneophyllum confervicola (Kützing) Y.M.Chamberlain.
