Type Species
The type species (lectotype) of the genus Nemastoma is Nemastoma dichotomum J.Agardh.
Status of Name
This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Nemastoma dichotomum var. longitrichogynum (Ercegović) Athanasiadis.
