Type locality: Kristineberg, Sweden; (Silva & al. 1996: 78) Type: Lagerheim; (INA 1996) Notes: Described from samples of bivalve shells on the Baltic coast in 1886 (Ramirez-Reinat & Garcia-Pichel 2012: 741). Ramirez-Reinat & Garcia-Pichel (2012) propose strain BC008 as type strain for the species.

Nomenclatural note
