This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Cystoseira compressa (Esper) Gerloff & Nizamuddin.
Origin of Species Name
Adjective (Latin), with leaves resembling the finely cut foliage of southerwood Artemesia abrotanum (Neal 1993).
