Type Species
The type species (holotype) of the genus Lomathamnion is Lomathamnion epicodii E.M.Gordon.
Status of Name
This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Stegengaea capensis (Stegenga) Alongi, Comaci & G.Furnari.
