Description
Cells cylindrical, 13-15 µm wide, 2 to 4 times as long as wide; oogonium single, ovoid to almost spherical, 30-37 µm wide, 33-43 µm long, opening by a median pore; oospore spherical, not filling oogonium, 27-33 µm wide, 27-33 µm long, walls smooth; suffultory cell similar to adjacent vegetative cells; dwarf male, stipe 7-12 µm wide, 20-28 µm long; gynandrosporous.
