Type locality: Hofmansgave, Fyn, Denmark; (Womersley 1984: 136) Lectotype: LD; herb. alg. Agardh 13617 (Bliding 1963) Notes: According to Bliding (1963), the specimen is "accompanied by a drawing in C. Agardh's hand."
