The type species (lectotype) of the genus Stenopterobia is Stenopterobia intermedia (F.W.Lewis) Van Heurck ex Hanna.
Status of Name
This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Iconella curvula (W.Smith) Ruck & Nakov.
