This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Microglena reginae (Ettl & J.C. Green) Demchenko, Mikhailyuk & Proschold.

Data in INA: isolated from Per Haridy near Roscoff, Brittany, France by Dr. M. Parke iv.1966; Holotype = text-fig !A-G; sandy intertidal habitat.
