Type Species
The type species (holotype) of the genus Petrascula is Petrascula bursiformis (Étallon) C.Gümbel.
Status of Name
This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Palaeodasycladus mediterraneus var. illyricus (Sokač & Nikler) Sokač.
