Type Information
Type locality: "Hong Kong Harbour; J.L. Palmer, Esq."; (Greville 1865: 5) Notes: Type: BM? John Linton Palmer (1824-1903) was the collector. He was Royal Navy Surgeon who made voyages to the Pacific in the 1850s and 1860s including on HMS Topaze. Objects collected by him are at the British Museum; archives are at Royal Geographical Society.
