Type Information
Type locality: "On the shores of the West Indies. Dr. Wright" [Jamaica]; (Lyra & al. 2016: 105) Holotype: Dr Wright; BM; 000936191 (Lyra & al. 2016: 1005) Notes: As Turner indicated only a single collection from the West Indies, the specimen in the BM is the holotype and it was incorrectly named as a "lectotype" by Lyra & al. (2016: 1005); the supposed lectotypification is invalid as the words "designated here" or an equivalent were not used (F. Pedroche, pers. comm.).

General Environment
This is a marine species.
