Type locality: Roscoff, Brittany, France; (Wynne & Furnari 2014: 520) Type: C. van den Hoek; 6.vi.1980; (INA 1996) Notes: Holotype: "L 0067305, a voucher specimen held in the Nationaal Herbarium
Nederland, Leiden University branch, dredged from Laminaria hyperborea stand close to the entrance
of the harbor at Roscoff. About 10 m deep, C. van den Hoek, 6-6-1980. Identified as Umbraulva
olivascens (Dangeard) E.H.Bae & I.K.Lee, 2001, Department of Biology, SNU, Eun Hee Bae, 2001
(Fig. 3)."
