Named for William Henry Harvey (1811-1866), Irish botanist.
General Environment
This is a marine species.
Habitat
This is apparently not a widespread species in southern Australia, occurring mainly under fresh-water influence in central Victoria and SE Tasmania (Womersley 2003: 366).
