The type species (holotype) of the genus Eolimna is Eolimna martinii W.Schiller & Lange-Bertalot.
Status of Name
This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Lucectorea comperei (Ector, M.Coste & Iserentant) Tudesque, Chrea & C.E.Wetzel.
