Type Species
The type species (lectotype) of the genus Kallymenia is Kallymenia reniformis (Turner) J.Agardh.

Status of Name
This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Nothokallymenia crouaniorum (Vergés & Le Gall) Vergés & Le Gall.
