Taxonomic note
Binomial also proposed by Å. Berg 1939:440, as Eunotia tridentula (Ehr. emend.) Å. Berg, with Basionym Eunotia tridentula var. tridentula Ehrenberg. (See Cleve-Euler 1953:102 and CAS Diatom Collection). Cleve-Euler 1953:102,103 proposed several varieties of that taxon:
