Type locality: Scotland; (Womersley 1987: 264) Type: Lightfoot’s illustration Notes: According ro Womersley (1987: 264), the type is from Scotland; lost? (Chapman 1972: 17). "In the Frith [presumably Firth] of Forth, about New-Haven, and other places, but not common" (INA).
