General Environment
This is a freshwater species.
Description
Campylomorph cells flattened, in ventral view elliptical to broad elliptical; anteriorly oblique with apex to the left, subapically notched on the right side. In left or right lateral view, biconvex with oblique apex flattened to the ventral side and rounded antapex. Plastid in apical view twisted to the right of the cell, with four pyrenoids, anterior pair in the right and left half of the cell, posterior pair in ventral and dorsal half. Cells (absolute minimal and maximal values of strains) 19-27 long, 12-17 wide and 10-14 thick. Cryptomorph not known.
