Type locality: Moutons Island, Glénan Archipelago, South Brittany (47º46.459 N, 4º01.281 W); (Chomérat et al. 2011: 205) Holotype (fig. 5): Maurice Loir; 2003; Marine, benthhic, in sandy sediments ; Marine Biological Station of the National Museum of Natural History at Concarneau; SEM stub # 08-E4 (Chomérat et al. 2011: 204, 205) Notes: First collected off Moutons Island in 2003 (by Maurice Loir) and subsequently found at several locations around the Moutons (Glénan Archipelago) and Groix Islands.
