Type Species
The type species (lectotype) of the genus Delesseria is Delesseria sanguinea (Hudson) J.V.Lamouroux.

Status of Name
This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Dicroglossum crispatulum (Harvey) A.J.K.Millar & Huisman.

Type locality: Fremantle, Western Australia (32o03’S, 115o44’E); (Silva & al. 1996: 455) Type: on Amphibolis antarctica (Labillardiere) Sonder & Ascherson ex Ascherson; TCD, Herbarium Harvey; Travelling Set No. 129 (Fig. 1) with isotype (Fig. 2) (Millar & Huisman 1996: 128) Notes: According to Womersley (2003: 32) the holotype was collected by Clifton.
