Type locality: "Oligoatmopbytice vivit persaepe in locis minus insolatis ad substrata sicca, imprimis ad cortices arborum nec non ligna, menta vetusta, ad muros, saxa et interdum ad ferramenta rubiginosa." [Oligoatmopbytic often lives in less isolated places to dry substrate, especially to the bark of trees and not to mint (?) trees, walls, stones and sometimes rusty tools] No locality specified.; (Brand & Stockmayer 1925: 348)
