This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Lobophora ceylanica (Harvey ex E.S.Barton) C.W.Vieira, De Clerck & Payri.

Origin of Species Name
Adjective A (Latin), Of (from) Ceylon, an island in the Indian Ocean off southern India (cf. ceylonensis & ceylonicus).
