Type Species
The type species (lectotype) of the genus Cladophoropsis is Cladophoropsis membranacea (Bang ex C.Agardh) Børgesen.
Status of Name
This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Acrocladus herpesticus (Montagne) Boedeker.
