Syntype localities: Pamban, Tamil Nadu, India; Beruwala, Sri Lanka; (Silva & al. 1996: 828) Type: N. Svedelius; (Svedelius 1906: 136) Notes: Svedelius gives the following data: Geographical distribution.- Ceylon: Rather locally in rock-pools at Beruwala, and at Paumben in the Island of Rameswaram (South India).

Adjective A (Latin), very small (Stearn 1973).
