Type locality: Indian Ocean (Weissflog); Bay of Bengal ( Dr. Wallich, 1857); (INA 1996) Notes: 'C. regius was originally distributed under the MS. name of Rex. C. regius was first found, in the Bay of Bengal in 1857, by Dr. Wallich.' (INA).
