Type Species
The type species (lectotype) of the genus Nitophyllum is Nitophyllum punctatum (Stackhouse) Greville.
Status of Name
This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Platyclinia fuscorubra (Hooker f. & Harvey) Levring.
