The type species (holotype) of the genus Dasyopsis is Dasyopsis plana (C.Agardh) Zanardini ex Falkenberg.
Status of Name
This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Dipterocladia pulchella (Weber Bosse) Y.S.D.M.de Jong.
