Abstract:
Seven marine red algal taxa are documented for southern Taiwan encompassing six genera new to Taiwan, and the inclusion of one new combination. They are Cubiculosporum koronicarpis Kraft, Corynocystis prostrata Kraft, Balliella crouanioides (Itono) Itono et Tanaka, Schizoseris bombayensis (Børgesen) comb. nov., Heterosiphonia crispella (c. Agardh) Wynne, Herposiphonia fissidentoides (Holmes) Okamura, and Spirocladia barodensis Børgesen
