Description: Athecate genus with asymmetric epi- and hypocone. Dorsoventrally flattened cells. Cingulum originates posteriorly to centrally, taking an anterior straight course, turning left and descending in a sigmoid-straight fashion dorsally and in a straight course right laterally and ventrally upon reaching its origin. Sulcus reaching the antapex. Peridinin-chloroplasts present. Nucleus in the median plane.
