Status of Name
This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Discocyclus hubeianus (J.Y.Chen & H.Z.Zhu) Rioual.

IGGDC) illustrated in fig. 16; sediment core material from Xionghe Reservoir (designated in Liao & al., 2024: 34).
