Habitat note
Grows between 5.0-9.0 m depths; scattered sparingly on Permian mudstone reef flats dusted or shallowly covered by sand; site subjected to episodic high-rainfall plume events throughout year and heavy swell in winter (Scott et al. 2013). - (07 March 2014) - G.M. Guiry
