Type locality: "Penguin Beach, Tasmania, Australia (41°06' S, 146°04' E) in a tide pool; collected by B. Grant in February 2011."; (Wetherbee & al. 2015: 37) Notes: "HOLOTYPE: MELU A 120611a, a mounted specimen derived from strain A (=CS-1113)."
