The type species (holotype) of the genus Neomonospora is Neomonospora pedicellata (Smith) Feldmann-Mazoyer & Meslin.
Status of Name
This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Anotrichium multiramosum (Setchell & N.L.Gardner) Baldock.
