Type locality: King George Sound, Western Australia; (Silva & al. 1996: 542) Lectotype: W.H.Harvey; on Polyphysa peniculus; TCD; Harvey Trav. Set 22 (Womersley 2003: 189) Notes: Type from Princess Royal Harbour, King George Sound, W. Aust.; probable isotypes (Alg. Aust. Exsicc. 180B) in BM, MEL, 1006715, and AD, A18284 (Womersley, 2003: 189). According to Huisman (2018: 543) the Harvey specimen (Harvey Trav. Set 22) is a lectotype rather than a holotype.
