Type locality: vicinity of King Sejong Station, King George Island, Antarctica (62.131490 S, 58.459550W); (Coombs, Darley, Holm-Hansen & Volcani 1967: 28) Holotype: CNUK; (Coombs, Darley, Holm-Hansen & Volcani 1967: 26, 28) Notes: [February 2015 and 2016]. Samples of Cladonia sp. and Cladonia gracilis were collected from rocks and soil crusts.
