Type locality: Heron Island, Great Barrier Reef, Australia (23°26'37.75"S, 151°54'51.72"E); (Nitschke & al. 2020: 931) Holotype: April 27, 2017; Herb. Univ. Aveiro (AVE); AVE-A-T-13 (SEM stub) (Nitschke & al. 2020: 931, fig. 10) Notes: Isotype: AVE-A-T-14 (aliquot of isolate P1G6 in 99% ethanol).
