Type locality: "boat launch at Black Point Marina, Homestead, Florida, USA"; (Berthold & al. 2020: [15]) Holotype: Epilithic on partially submerged coastal intertidal limestone, epipelic on sand or silt, and found forming benthic mats near mangroves.; US; 223412 (Berthold & al. 2020: [15]) Notes: Reference strain: BLCC-M29 (University of Florida, Davie, FL, USA) and ULC454 (University of Liège, Liège, Belgium).
