Type locality: "George Town, V. D. L., R. Gunn, Esq., n. 1287" [Georgetown, Tasmania]; (Harvey 1844: 432) Holotype: R.C. Gunn 1287; TCD; herb. Harvey (Womersley 1998: 466) Notes: Womersley (1998: 466) appears to designate a lectotype but there seems to be a single numbered specimen, with isotype(s) at BM (ex K).
