Taxonomic note
Delépine in Papenfuss (1964: 9) considers it likely that this entity is the juvenile of a species of Codium, an opinion which Papenfuss shared. It is difficult to say in which species it should be included (Guiry, pers. comm.). - (11 May 2006) - G.M. Guiry
